Privacy policy

1. What the app stores, and where

Everything is stored only on your computer, in your system's application data folder: ~/Library/Application Support/MouseMover/ on macOS and %LOCALAPPDATA%\MouseMover\ on Windows.

• Preferences (schedules, language, theme, movement pattern), so the app remembers your setup.
• Licence key and activation identifier, to validate your purchase.
• Trial start date, to count the 7 days.
• Microsoft session (only if you turn on “Teams status”), stored in the system keychain — Keychain on macOS, DPAPI on Windows.

Files are created with restricted permissions: only your user account can read them. The Microsoft session is encrypted by your operating system, not stored in plain text. There is no Click Creativo database or server holding data about you.

2. What leaves your machine

The app connects to the internet only in these cases, and only for what is stated.

a) Validating your licence — Lemon Squeezy

When you activate or revalidate your licence, your licence key and an identifier for your machine are sent to Lemon Squeezy, our payment processor. That identifier is made up of your computer's name and a code derived from its hardware identifier (not reversible). This is what enforces the limit of 2 computers per licence.

Lemon Squeezy also acts as Merchant of Record: your purchase data — email, payment, billing — is handled by them, not by us. Click Creativo does not store your email or your payment details.

b) Changing your Teams status — Microsoft (optional)

Only if you turn on the “Teams status” feature and sign in with your Microsoft 365 account. In that case the app talks to Microsoft to read and change your presence status, and nothing else. The permission requested is Presence.ReadWrite.

The app never sees your password: sign-in happens on Microsoft's own site through a device code. You can disconnect it at any time from Integrations → Disconnect, which erases the stored session from your machine.

c) Checking for updates

When you press “Check for updates”, the app downloads a file with the latest version number from clickcreativo.cl. No information about you is sent; as with any web visit, the server logs the IP address of the connection.

3. What we do NOT do

• There is no telemetry or analytics. The app does not report how you use it.
• We do not log your activity. The schedules you configure never leave your machine.
• We do not sell or share data with third parties beyond what is described above, which is the minimum needed for the product to work.
• There is no advertising and there are no trackers.
• The app moves the cursor and detects system idle time, but it does not record what you type, what is on your screen, or which programs you use.

4. How to delete all your data

Run the bundled uninstaller (uninstall_mac.command or uninstall_windows.bat). It removes your configuration, licence, trial data and the Microsoft session from the keychain, and releases your activation so you can use it on another machine. You can also delete the data folder named in section 1.

5. Your rights

Since we hold no personal data about you in our systems, there is no database on which to exercise rights of access or erasure with us. For your purchase data, go to Lemon Squeezy. For your Microsoft account data, go to Microsoft or your organisation's administrator. If you have questions or want to exercise any right, write to us and we will help you route it.

6. Minors

Mouse Mover is a productivity tool aimed at adults in a work context. It is not directed at minors.

7. Changes to this policy

If it changes, the date in the header will be updated and the current version published on this site.
