// Mouse Mover · Windows and macOS

Has your computer ever locked at the worst moment?

Mouse Mover keeps your machine from locking or going to sleep while you are working, even when you are not touching the keyboard. It nudges the cursor gently and keeps the screen on.

// When it saves you

Locking is not an annoyance: it is lost work.

Remote work and VPN

So the session does not drop and force you to authenticate again.

Meetings

You are listening, not typing.

Presentations

So the screen does not go dark in front of everyone.

Large downloads and transfers

So they do not break off halfway.

Development

Long builds, test runs and deployments.

Remote desktops

So the session holds while you leave it working.

Long prints and installs

Processes that take their time and do not tolerate an interruption.

// And you decide when

The one app that switches itself off when your day ends.

Mouse Mover does not run behind your back: it runs inside the limits you set. If your day ends at six, at six it stops.

Working hours

You set your days and your hours. Outside that range it switches itself off.

Lunch break

It stops and starts again on its own, at the time you choose.

Holidays

Pick a date range and it will not run during that time.

Manual mode

If you prefer, it only runs when you say so.

Changes on the fly

Adjust the interval while it runs, with no restart.

US$6.99a year

Under 60 cents a month. It renews once a year and you can cancel whenever you like. Try 7 days free with every feature before you decide.

  • Windows 10/11 and macOS 12 or later
  • 5 languages: Spanish, English, Portuguese, French and German
  • Activation on up to 2 computers at the same time
  • Works offline for up to 14 days in a row
  • Every update while your licence is active
  • Optional Microsoft Teams integration

Before reformatting or switching computers, open the app and press “Release licence” to free your key. If you run out of activations, write to us and we will sort it out.

// Optional

Microsoft Teams status

During your lunch break it can set you to Away in Teams and put it back on its own when you return. In other words: the app even tells people when you are not there.

Requires authorising the app in your Microsoft account. If your company's IT department does not allow it, Mouse Mover still works: this integration is an extra, not the product.

// Questions

What is worth knowing first.

Does it work without an internet connection?

Yes, for long stretches. You need a connection to activate your licence and, from then on, the app revalidates quietly in the background now and then. It can go up to 14 days in a row offline without bothering you; after that it will ask you to connect once to carry on.

What happens if I do not renew?

The app stops working when your year runs out and you do not renew. It deletes nothing and does not lock your computer: it simply asks for an active licence again. If you renew later, you carry on where you left off.

How do I cancel?

From the management link you receive in your purchase email, at any time. If you cancel, you keep access until the end of the year you already paid for; there is no charge the following year and no need to tell us.

On how many computers can I use it?

Your key activates on up to 2 computers at the same time. Your work machine and your home one, for example.

What happens if I reformat or change computers?

Before you do, open the app and press “Release licence”: that frees your key so you can activate it on the new machine. If you forgot and ran out of activations, write to us and we will fix it.

Windows or macOS shows a warning when I install. Is that normal?

Yes, and it is worth knowing before you buy. The app does not have a commercial signing certificate yet, so Windows shows the SmartScreen page (“More info” → “Run anyway”) and macOS asks you to open it the first time with right-click → Open. It is a warning about where the file came from, not about what is inside it.

Does it use a lot of resources?

No. The app is idle almost all of the time: it wakes up every so often, nudges the cursor a few pixels and goes back to sleep.

Do I need Microsoft Teams to use it?

No. Teams is an optional integration. The app does its main job — keeping your machine from locking — without connecting to any account.

Can I use it on my work computer?

That depends on each organisation's internal policy, and the decision is yours. The app does not change system settings or disable security policies: it only simulates mouse activity, exactly as if you moved your hand.
